Hello, my name is Dayoung Yu

I am currently a Ph.D. student in Social Welfare Policy in Chung-Ang Univ, South Korea.

My research explores the shifting landscape of labor under neoliberalism, with a particular focus on the phenomena of work addiction and chronic overwork. I am deeply interested in how the integration of digital technologies and algorithmic management obscures modern forms of exploitation, fundamentally reshaping workers' attitudes and modes of engagement. By utilizing Labour Process Theory (LPT), I aim to critically analyze the mechanisms of control and resistance in the digital age, seeking to understand the breakdown of the boundaries between work and life. #Overwork #Digital labor #Algorithmic Management #Labor Process Theory
